Hi my name is Donna-Rae.
Back in 2013 I fell pregnant. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to be a mum, but in June I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and I was in so much pain and bleeding really bad. I was so upset and thought it’s going to be hard to fall pregnant again. In June 2014 I fell pregnant again. I couldn’t believe it and everything was going good. We found out we were having a girl and she was going to be born on the 7th February 2015.
On November 5th I had a check-up and it was all good, however on November the 6th it wasn’t good at all… I went in ambulance from Bowral Hospital at 4:30am up to Liverpool hospital and my daughter Sophie was born at 26weeks +2 days. From then on it was like a roller coaster ride and we thought she was going to die more than a few times.
It was so hard for me as a first-time mum, plus Sophie was in hospital for 3 months! Now Sophie is 3 and talkative as ever. We are so blessed to have her in our lives…
Donna-Rae xx
